How long we keep information
We retain different types of data for specific periods based on their purpose:
• General Enquiries: Name, email address, and message content submitted via our website or email are retained for 12 months to allow for appropriate follow-up and customer service.
• Consultation Records: Notes from safeguarding consultations or advisory sessions are kept for 6 years, in line with professional indemnity insurance requirements and legal obligations.
• Training Records: If you attend one of our safeguarding training sessions, your name, date of attendance, and certificate records are kept for 6 years, to verify participation and support future compliance checks.
• Mailing List Data: If you opt into our newsletter or updates, your name and email will be retained until you unsubscribe, at which point it is removed within 30 days.
